Layered In: Where Deepfake Detection Lives Now

Ben Colman

Co-Founder and CEO

A fraud analyst at a financial institution flags an inbound call after voice authentication shows a match to a known person, but something about the interaction feels off. A trust and safety lead watches a synthetic video circulate through a disinformation campaign before anyone can verify whether the media is real. An SOC team triages a deepfake-driven social engineering attempt alongside hundreds of concurrent alerts, with no built-in detection layer in their existing workflow to help them.

These aren't hypothetical scenarios. This represents the operational reality for security, fraud, and trust teams across every sector and in every country. And they all share a common thread: deepfake detection can improve their work and stop threats head-on in their existing workflows, but it hasn’t yet reached everyone who needs it most.

This is the problem Reality Defender's partner integrations are designed to solve.

New Partners, New Integration Points

We're pleased to announce four new partnerships that extend Reality Defender's detection capabilities into narrative intelligence, voice security, managed security services, and agentic AI.

Alethea brings AI-powered narrative threat intelligence to the partnership. Their Artemis platform helps organizations identify and mitigate online risks, from disinformation campaigns to brand-targeted narrative attacks, before they escalate. By integrating Reality Defender's detection, Alethea can verify whether the media fueling those narratives is AI-generated, adding a critical forensic layer to narrative risk assessment.

Illuma is a leader in voice security for the financial services industry. Their IllumaSHIELD™ platform uses AI-powered voice biometrics to authenticate callers in real time across contact centers. Through this partnership, Reality Defender's deepfake audio detection is integrated directly into IllumaSHIELD. Financial institutions can verify that a caller is who they claim to be and that the caller's voice is human, not synthetic. It's voice authentication and deepfake detection in a single platform, purpose-built for financial services.

Netarx delivers real-time, cross-channel detection of social engineering threats across every communication surface. Its focus on disinformation security and continuous verification strengthens Reality Defender’s detection models. Together, the combined solution integrates seamlessly into enterprise workflows, providing proactive end-user nudges the moment deepfake threats emerge.

Charm Security, a 2026 RSAC Innovation Sandbox finalist, builds agentic AI workforces for fraud and security teams. Charm's AI agents already work alongside human analysts to investigate alerts and guide resolution in high-risk moments. Through this partnership, those agents can invoke Reality Defender's detection models to assess whether an interaction involves manipulated content, without requiring teams to switch tools or escalate to specialists. It's deepfake detection delivered at the point of decision.

Why Detection Has to Be Layered In

Reality Defender is exclusively focused on building industry-leading deepfake detection. We don't compete with cyber platforms, identity providers, or forensics vendors. Instead, we provide the authenticity signal to strengthen them.

Our API-first architecture lets partners integrate enterprise-grade, multimodal detection with as few as 2 lines of code. Partners embed it directly into their own products and workflows without rearchitecting anything. This approach, an additive rather than competitive approach allows Reality Defender to work across every layer of the security and trust stack. The result is detection that reaches fraud analysts, trust and safety teams, SOC operators, and identity verification workflows at the point where decisions are actually made.

Deepfake detection layered in means AI-generated content detection embedded directly into the platforms where trust decisions are made: contact centers, identity verification, content moderation, legal proceedings, and security operations. Not bolted on, but built into the workflow.

The Partners Building With Us

These four new partnerships build on our platform’s rapid growth since RSAC 2025. Countless others have been integrating our platform to stop deepfakes and prevent their damages over the last year alone, including:

Orange Business: Integrating deepfake detection into the Live Intelligence platform to provide advanced AI security capabilities, enabling organizations to securely design, deploy, and govern autonomous AI agents.

Validit.ai: Combining our multimodal synthetic media detection with patented physio-behavioral AI technology to verify both human authenticity and statement credibility against impersonation and fraud.

Respeecher: Access to advanced speech synthesis models, strengthening detection training against the latest voice cloning techniques.

Hume AI: Early access to voice AI models, helping our research team stay ahead of emerging audio synthesis.

ElevenLabs: Partnered to combat the damage deepfakes cause across enterprise and government.

PeakMetrics: Joint winners of the 2025 US-Japan Global Innovation Challenge for government deepfake protection.

Primer Technologies: The first AI-native intelligence stack for real-time synthetic media detection and verification.

Law & Forensics: Deepfake detection integrated directly into legal workflows for forensic-grade verification of evidence and testimony.

Grist Mill Exchange: Metered API access expanding distribution for government teams and developers.

These partners also join 1Kosmos, Proof, ActiveFence, and Secured Signing, along with global system integrators and technology leaders across identity verification, content moderation, AI safety, and digital signatures.

Detection That Lives Where It's Needed

The thread connecting every one of these partnerships is a shared conviction: deepfake detection cannot remain a siloed capability. It needs to be embedded everywhere trust decisions are made. In contact centers, on video calls, during identity verification, inside legal proceedings, across content moderation pipelines, and within the agentic AI systems that will mediate enterprise workflows.

Reality Defender's role across this network is to be the authenticity layer: the foundational detection infrastructure that strengthens existing security stacks. Every partner gains the ability to answer the same question their customers are asking. Is this real?

Just as antivirus and spam detection became invisible, essential layers of the internet, deepfake detection is following the same trajectory. The organizations embedding it now, through partnerships, integrations, and shared conviction, will be the ones best positioned to maintain trust as AI-generated content continues to scale.

We're building. And we're not building alone.
