Reality Defender won the 2023 SXSW Pitch Awards!
Three months ago, SXSW notified us of our selection as a finalist in the SXSW Pitch Awards category of Artificial Intelligence, Voice, & Robotics Technologies. Today, we were humbled to be selected as the winner during the SXSW Interactive Conference in Austin, Texas.
We are truly overwhelmed by the feedback from our investors, advisors, supporters, and the people we met here in Austin. We could not have won this award without your support.
Most importantly, we are grateful to our brilliant Reality Defender team who helped propel us to the place we are today, building a company and platform that is truly best in show.

The New York Times has a detailed write-up on how easy it is to create convincing-enough deepfakes today from your phone, your underpowered laptop, or even a voice memo. It demonstrates the importance of what we do at Reality Defender as more bad actors have increasingly easier access to these dangerous tools.
The creator and user demand for deepfaked pornography is facing tremendous growth. The Guardian writes about how our connected society is nowhere near prepared for this breach of consent on those on the receiving end of this material.
Facing an increase in sophisticated incidents utilizing deepfaked audio to deceive employees, a multinational tier-one bank contacted Reality Defender to analyze calls and determine real callers from those attempting to commit fraud.
Learn how we helped this bank detect fraud in real time by analyzing live phone calls and creating bespoke detection methods for our client.
"Bill Gates" recently joined a news show to boast about how he profited off of Covid vaccines, among other things. This, of course, never happened.
